TDM was established in 1979 as a repair facility and has grown to be the only major ASME coded fabricator in the Corpus Christi area that designs and builds both pressure vessels and heat exchangers.  Our quality and service has enabled us to grow both in size and capabilities. We are proud of the trust and confidence our customers continue to place in us.

Our manufacturing site consists of four facilities totaling over 48,000 sq. ft. covered working area on 5 acres of land.

TDM’s strength is based on qualified people dedicated to producing a quality product for a competitive price – on time. Located just outside the city limits of Corpus Christi near the industrial and refining areas with major highways close by for easy access.

COMPANY PROFILE

TDM  provides the petrochemical industry with quality workmanship on each and every unit fabricated in our shop. We hold a “U” and “R” stamp for ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII, Division 1.

The vessels, towers, and heat exchangers we fabricate are in full compliance with ASME and/or TEMA.  We also offer National Board Registration and can incorporate designs to NACE MR-0175 and API 660/661 in addition to customer specifications.

MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES

TDM’s manufacturing site consist of (4) facilities totaling over 48,000 squarefeet on 5 acres of land. Our facility is conveniently located within 4 hours of Houston, Texas.

We are located within 20 miles of Corpus Christi International Airport for air shipments and the Port of Corpus Christi for direct ocean shipments. We are also served by all major truck lines and rail lines.

TDM is a full service facility handling in-house plate rolling, welding, machining, drilling, assembly, testing, sand-blasting and painting.

We maintain a full set of ASME Section IX qualified weld procedures for Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel, Chrome and most blends. Our welders are fully qualified in SAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and GTAW welding processes.

ASME CODE

Since 1916, ASME has certified companies in the pressure equipment industry to certify that their products, services and quality systems comply with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel (BPV) Code establishes rules governing the design, fabrication, and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels, and nuclear power plant components during construction. The ASME certification mark, which is regarded as the hallmark of acceptance and certification, is used to indicate that the stamped item(s) conform to the latest edition of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes.

Utilization of the ASME certification mark is a means of complying with the laws and regulations in all 50 states in the U.S., and all of the provinces of Canada. In addition, it has been estimated that over 100 countries accept the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code as a means of meeting their government safety regulations. Whether or not an ASME Code Symbol Stamp is legally required, it provides users with a high degree of confidence that the stamped items conform to established safety standards.
